This approach is designed to minimize disruption to the natural bonds between birth siblings. Having this consistency will enhance their potential for successful outcomes. This approach addresses a need that is currently unmet and of high importance in my district. This agency deserves our support as their mission is to help at risk foster youth in becoming successful members of society.

I affirm my support for Sibling Care FFA. Their mission to establish a network of foster care providers that is capable of handling multiple foster children is important. As a legislator, I recognize the importance of maintaining close family bonds in order to provide a positive environment for our youth. It is important to keep siblings together so that the adverse effects of this upheaval can be minimized. Keeping siblings together when foster care is required will help facilitate a better transition when the foster children are either reunified with their birth parents, or relased for adoption. I commend their efforts and continue my support in building strong, healthy families in my district.
